gor bose 3-2-1 GS but on the left speaker the sound only comes through one speaker not both of them, if that makes sence

this causes the sound to distort and sets off the soundstage.

its not the speakers, ive checked or the source ive tryed CD's, ipod dock, Optical

i have no idea what it might be, the wire is buried into the wall so its not easy just to swap it over??

any ideas?
