Help with a Monitor Audio RXW-12 .

The module in my RSW-12 has been upgraded to an RXW-12 module under warranty. There is now a 12v trigger on the RXW ?, and i have a Sony STR-DA5400 amp. Can anyone can let me know, 1. How I go about connecting them ? . And 2. Are there benefits to using this connection ? Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If yr amp has a 12v trigger it can switch on yr subwoofer automatically. I would not bother but depends on layout I guess. More useful to trigger an automatic projection screen maybe?
