A brief history of my situation:
I bought a Canton DM50 sound base as it suited my needs perfectly and it also got rave reviews both on here and other sites. I was also sold on the fact that I thought it decoded DTS as well as Dolby Digital, but alas, I was wrong, it only utilises DTS TruSurround processing meaning that any DTS bluray will not process through the Canton (and any other non-DTS sound bar/base (which is most of them)) unless you first set the player to output PCM (2 channel).
Has anybody heard the new Ken Kreisel Quattro (Q125) series and the new MK S300? I am curious to know whether the KK can hold its weight against the MK S300, which is a step up in class to the S150, which the Q125 is out to rival? While that seem's fairly straight forward an answer, I'm not sure it is entirely.
I will be going for a demo in April to have a listen to the KK, but it has come down to these two for me after having a demo of the PMC fact range and B&W diamond range
Hello all. I am building my first av system, and up front I have a set of 103.2s which I love for stereo listening, and their neutral monitor-like sound. I am next going to invest in a centre speaker.....obviously there isn't a matching one in the range so I ask if anyone has an input in to where I should be looking? I have a budget of around 250. I prefer to buy used, but all suggestions welcome. Will be powered by Pioneer vsx 920
Anyone else seen them what do you think? And they picked up awards! Total garbage is my view.
After years of terrible sound from the Tv speaker, I think time has come for a decent system, but I'm really confused about which would fit better my situation. I've been reading several magazines and they almost unanimously agree that the Monitor Audio MASS and the Dali Zensor 1 are among the very best in their price category.
Hi everyone, thanks to anyone who replied to my previous threads but I am still in need of some advice.
I have managed to rework my budget and now have £500 for a receiver and speakers. I was all but set to go for the Yamaha rxv375 and Boston soundware speakers but now my budget is slightly more I can't help but think that maybe this is not the right choice.
