Hi

I'm having trouble ripping a Toy Story DVD using Handbrake on my Mac so thought I'd give it a go on my wife's PC.

What software would you recommend?

thanks

Then you can tell us if the Win 7 version was as rubbish as the Mac version.

DVDFab works great on Win 7 for both DVD and Blu-Ray.

I use Handbrake on the Mac all the time and find it works really well. What's rubbish about it?

Handbrake, on the mac, works quite well. I read that installing VLC helps as it provides some libraries that handbrake can use around DVD protection.

Thank Prof. I thought Handbrake was Mac only, so I'll give it a go.

I normally find it excellent, if a little confusing. I've been trying to rip Toy Story 2 and on both occasions on playing back the file it has played the opening Disney nonsense, then jumps forward a few chapters which is really odd.

Oh dear, the Windows version couldn't even read the disc! ( I knew I used a Mac for a good reason...)
