Discounts available?

What sort of discount should I be aiming for when I'm buying AV amp with speakers?

Or am I better off trying to get stuff thrown in - speaker stands or something (I was thinking against speaker cable because if the range of qualities)?

I don't suppose it's like motorbikes where the discounts available are very seasonal, but I'm assuming discounts are available because most places advertise at RRP and it's just a matter of knowing what to aim for?

I've not really decided what I'm going to buy yet (waiting to see what the new B&W MT30 replacements are like), but trying to work out what I can afford.
