Hi,

I am after a Bluray 3D player with some kind of surround sound whether it be 2.1 or 5.1 (preferably 2.1 as girlfriend doesn't want speakers everywhere).

I really want a system to run through my sky box as I have trouble hearing some speech on my Samsung D7000 tv, I would prefer an all in one box setup as I say I am a novice and don't really want to spend hours fine tuning amps etc. Would a seperate bluray player and perhaps an Onyx 2.1 system be best (and easy to setup) or the BDV-NF720 which looks good but doesn't have any reviews anywhere.

All help appreciated. Smile

What is your budget?

There are plenty of options out there and to answer your immediate question, I would always recommend seperates.

But lets start with budget first:)

My budget is about £400.

What I am really looking for is something with good sound especially when people are speaking, I would really like it on all the time and use it instead of the tv speakers.

I have looked at sound bars, all in one box setups 2.1 and 5.1 and really still none the wiser as too what would best suit my needs. As they all sound great in the shop, but a different story once you get them home.

Some user reviews here:

Looks nice!

I've heard the BDV-N590 & was very impressed (if that is any help to you).
