500£ for new avr, 2.1 speakers

Hi all,

this has probably been asked before but here i go again.

i have 500£ -600£ to spend on a av reciever and 2.1 system. I intend to build my system over time with additional speakers but for now i am happy with a 2.1 setup.

i have shortlisted 

1. denon avr1912 or onkyo nr609 or onkyo sr608 (250£-350£)

2. wharfedale diamond 9.1 and sw150 (230£)

what do you think of these combinations? specially in terms of 

- match of avr and speakers

- any alternates avr and speakers
