2 channel home cinema amp ???

Is this a silly question ??? For those who want to stick with two channel sound surly it would not be difficult to include video processing inside the stereo amp box with a digital converter ...E.G say a nad 352 with video and digital processing inside the box..I mean its not as though they would be stuffing 7 amplifiers inside one box so one would suspect a 'twochannel' home cinema amp should retain its better audio sound...........
