10 'big' films that you have absolutely no interest in seeing.
Squeezing a little more from the subject...
I just saw a posting on the other 'what was all the fuss about' thread...and wondered which (big)films do you really really feel zero inclination to see.
I'll start with...
1. Titanic. (It takes a lot to get me to watch a 3 hour film...this one...no chance)
2. Pearl Harbour.
3. King Kong (Peter Jackson)... Not because I am not interested, but because I know what happens and it makes me sad ;(
4. The passion of the christ... No no and thrice no!
5. Grease...Never watched it and have avoided it ever since....NO THANKS.
6. Any of the 'Scary Movie' films - No I just haven't got the time'
7. The Da Vinci code
8. Austin Powers (any of the sequels) (The 1st film is my personal ALL TIME WORST EVER FILM, so its unlikely)
I'll think of a couple more
Maybe someone would also like to say why I should bother with any of the above...
1+2- Fantastic Four Movies
3- Alien vs Preditor
4- Sex and The City
5- High School Muiscal (how My Daughter watches this is beyond Me!)
6- Gone With the Wind
7- Harry Potter
8- Any Narnia Movies
D.J.KRIME:1+2- Fantastic Four Movies
3- Alien vs Preditor
4- Sex and The City
5- High School Muiscal (how My Daughter watches this is beyond Me!)
6- Gone With the Wind
7- Harry Potter
8- Any Narnia Movies
Oh DJ, HSM is good clean fun! I've probably seen the first two in all there similar guises at least a dozen times!
Predator (and any sequels)
Total Recall
Die Hard (see Predator)
Terminator (see Die Hard)
Transformers
Kes
Billy Elliot
The Fully Monty
Gone With the Wind
Wimbledon
Die Hard? You really don't want to see Die Hard?! My goodness!!
(same goes for Predator and Terminator, but I'm too shocked by Die Hard to comment on them!!)

Bruce Willis saving the world in a vest! No thank you. He should have retired after Moonlighting.

Transformers 2. Didn't take me more than 10 minutes of the first Transformers to know I was wasting my time...walked out at half time.
Star wars 1,2 & 3 Loved IV & V; do you really think I let a franchise inspired prequel mess with that!?
The da vinci code; haven't even read the book. Realism and real spirituality (choose either)is so much more interesting.
Mamma Mia- even my mom doesn't like ABBA.
Sex and the City- you must be joking! (or desperate or married, which makes it understandable, well, kind of...)
Any Paris Hilton film.
Cannot agree with The Da Vinci Code, thought it was quite good.
This thread depresses me, to be honest - I try and be as open-minded as possible and give movies the benefit of the doubt.ÿ
OK, I admit there are some I don't rush to the cinema to see, or even buy/rent on DVD/Blu-ray, but I watch plenty on TV when they come around: i'll give it a while and see how it goes. Have discovered some real gems that way, and had some prejudices overturned.
Mind you, even I agree re Narnia films.... managed @10 mins of the first one before the damn plummy kids put me off....ÿ

i agree with al that - except i had to see the lion witch and wordrobe for sentimental reasons. shant bother with the other narnia films tho - and agre, clare, about those kids.
fr0g - lol! the only one i havent seen on your list, i think, is the passion...no intention either.
oh, must confess ive seen a potter o two, but only to humour a mate.
I'm generally the same I have to say, Clare. It's just it was purely accidental that I never saw any of the old Potter films (it just never came up), but I'm now on a mission to become the only man alive to have never seen any of them or to have read any of the books. I reckon I'm close...![]()

Die hards just a wee bit of fun! If you watch it as such i dont see how anyone could fail to enjoy it.

Close indeed, but no cigar as I haven't seen or read any of this Potter nonsense either.... and never intend to!
1. The Matrix - all characters like arrogant & too clever than everybody
2. Braveheart - hero dies, not a happy story
3. Transformers - actions cut by unwanted scene
4. Harry Potter - everything magical everywhere?
5. Titanic - story was not about titanic
6. Alien vs Predator II - enough killing already
7. Cloverfield - a movie or personal video? I want my money back!
8. Planet of The Apes - wrong planet at last? I want my 2 hours time back!
9. Black Hawk Down - not an interesting place to see
10. Final Destination (sequel) - human body splosh-splash like watermellon yum yum
I'm a bit confused by the title of this thread. How could anyone know what they don't have any interest in seeing something when they haven't seen it yet? Maybe it should be 10 'big' films that you have watched and regretted it after that?
For me what comes to mind is Evan Almighty...total waste of time. And Parts 2 & 3 of Pirates of the Carribean.

Life is too short... But I guess part of the reason of the thread was so that if I was missing a peach, then someone would say so

Any of the Harry Potters for me (how many does that take me up to?!)
