Due to a job offer I was hoping to receive falling through the NaimUniti + Speaker change I was looking at has been shelved until I can save up the funds necessary...hopefully later this year.

In the meantime I am going back to my original plan of upgrading my CD player and potentially speakers (although I must say I do like my Castle speakers and they suit current placement requirements perfectly)

So I am looking for a CD player to partner my Marantz PM6003 Amp, I am however looking to spend up to £600.00 on this. Current options are:

Marantz CD6003

Cyrus CD6SE

Roksan Kandy MKIII

Exposure 2010

and possibly the new AudioLab 8200CD

I am thinking of the latter due to the DAC and the fact I believe I could play my ipod via this and utilise the D to A conversion possibly via a Onkyo dock.

What are peoples opinions on these suggestions, especially the latter?
