Would upgrading from my current KEF Q7's improve audio quality ?

My current system is there in my signature

Do you all believe upgrading my speakers would improve audio quality ? Buying a new TT is out of the question as I have recently invested in my Rega RP1. All digital music is played through my Audiolab MDAC -- adding the MDAC to my system dramatically improved the audio quality. In my limited understanding, I think upgrading my speakers should help.

If any of you concur with my view, what speakers would you suggest ? I am okay spending in the region of 1000 pounds (1200 if it will make a quantum difference)

All inputs are welcome .. I need all the help I can get

Cheers

Suggest you save yourself £500 and go to audition some Q Acoustics 2050i speakers.

These will soundly thrash anything else I've heard up to £1000+

RE: ?

Depends on what you dont like at the moment but the 1500AE can have slightly loose bass so I would have thought Kef's in particular suit well.
