The price seems respectable but by all means go lower. I would very strongly advise that you hear it all first and take something on CD that you know very well. Do a sanity check for L-R imbalanced sound, funny rattling, buzzing, etc.
It's almost as tricky as buying a used car but hearing is essential.
offer £450 cash (but must include the speakers, speaker cable and interconnects) ... and promise to collect tommorow morning early ... tell him that is all you have and can be a quick sale .... if you are lucky, have a good listen and make sure all works well ... let us know !
