Will my Onkyo TX8555 drive polk rti a9 ok without power amp? or would my cambridge audio a500rc be better?

Basically am looking to upgrade me tsi200's as my wee boy is getting close to crawling and will likely tip them off their stands. I only have a denon avr driving my cinema room which leaves a cambridge a500rc or onkyo tx8555. Im aware i SHOULD get a power amp but at this stage i would get a swift kick to the nads. So will either do an ok job for now?
