Which stands for EB1's
Hi all
I have a pair of EB Acoustics EB1's on order and i need some stands for them to sit on, I also have a very "hands on" 2 year old, so the stands need to do the speakers justice but also be as stable as possible. And if its not asking to much not offend the the other half either, although that last one is the least important consideration
Also any suggestions for speaker cable would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Thanks Mister Wolf
I'll go and have a look at those. It turns out partington are just down the road from me and they said i could have a look round the workshop
These are excellent stands and would be an appropriate spend on the EB1's, price wise.
Yes fine and blow your cash by all means. Apollo do some fine stands for the job, won't cripple your bank account and leave you plenty of wodge to buy some discs or downloads to let your EB1s sing.
When I had a home trial of the DB1s last year they were stuck on the end of some Kudos stands. Very heavy....very impressive.
Ive 2 sets of partingtons, so they get the vote from me.
What hifi said they use them in their listening rooms, when they want to hear standmount speakers at their best. Enough said I think....
Fully agree; stands like Atacama Nexus range and the Soundstyle Z1's/Z2's are good but for EB Acoustic speakers and their competitiors/similar range speakers (i.e. B&W 685's, M/A RX2's etc...) I'd say that the minimum standard for a decent stand would be the Partington SuperDreadnoughts.
They're solid and big enough to give the speakers an ideal platform

Some Partington Super Dreadnoughts should suffice.
