Thought the whole idea of droppong the paper & ink was to save money???
Came up with 4.99 on my ipad today.
Came up with £2.99 on my iPad. 
I've been away in America for a week, so will get clarification on this from our subscription dept when I'm back in the office on Monday.
You should thank your lucky stars, the only option on the kindle is to subscribe for a full year. Single purchases aren't an option.
Paid £4.99 for my iPad edition on Friday, thought it had gone uo!
I cancelled my subscription to the magazine last month.
I reckon I grew out of it and as almost half of it is the reference section I regarded it as not particularly good value.
I now subscribe to another magazine which gives, IMHO, better reviews!
I will continue on this Forum as the information and comments are very informative!

Sorry folks, it appears there was an error this month, now corrected: the digital edition still costs £3.99 on iTunes, and £3.33 on Zinio (VAT is added at checkout). Apologies for the confusion. The digital issue is also the same price on Google and Amazon.

Seems rather steep. I get my Stereophile via Zinio for way less than that. Think my annual subscription for that was about £12 and I read it on the Nexus 7.
