Wadia 170i
Been offered a 170i for £80. At the mo am using a apple dock. Is it worth it.
Also would the m1 dac be a good match for this if i bought it?

Think this was Wadia's cheapest ever item at around £350? If it's in good nick, working as expected, then I'd be over it like a rash. Apparently excellent from memory.

Well, at the very worst, you can sell it on for a profit. I'd go for it, but don't let that sway you.
Go for it. I pair mine with M1 DAC with excellent results.
Heard it with a Stax SR 007 and some alien looking dac costing 1000 pounds.....just after I heard some Avantgarde Uno's with an AR setup. Detail levels and realsim were within 95% of the AR setup.
absolutely a good deal, provided the item's not worn badly. i used much less expensive solution to a dac and the change in sound already a good leap.
