Unearthed 1986 NAD 2200 Power Amp - What speakers to pair with it?

Ive just found an old NAD 2200 Power Amp which is quite powerful and I was wondering if anyone could suggest a pair of speakers that would do this old bad boy some justice.

This is exactly the type of thing im looking for, but I live in Poland which poses a problem because most speakers of a certain size dont get shipped around Europe by ebay sellers. So if you could suggest a few new speakers and a few old i will see what i can get hold of over here.

These are of the right kind of vintage and would be a hoot, especially if you're of the more rockular persuasion!
