Not having a go at the press andrew, i mean the manufactures. The car industry has its test outings for their press before public release. Would it not be good for sales ? Or is it a case of stretching the elastic band before letting it go ?

Indeed, but then driving a pair of speakers in the Sierra Nevada isn't likely to give you much idea how they'll sound in your own front room.

Well, the B&Ws were only shown to the press for the first time a week ago: we have a pair on-site, but as you know we won't rush a test just to get it online first, preferring to do a proper job.
