Looking on the Naim forum it seems to be 5 years in the UK if you register.
Well it's a good job you checked otherwise I might not have remembered that I registered my entire Naim system for the 5 year extended warranty.

Ya know PP, bearing in mind the fun you had with the Arcam opening its drawer for no reason, I reckon you got a friendly ghost ( yes, you have had a thread about that one too I know ).
I have a Nait 5i here at the works that would change input select to channel 4 for no reason. Did it for about a month. Contacted Naim and they told me how to re-boot it, no difference.
I kid you not!!. Friend of mine came to see me who's a priest. Told him what was happening and he performed an excorcism. No problems since. I am not joking. Think it was my dead partner having some fun coz he was bored. Bit unnerving when ur sat in front of it touching nothing and it changes from CD to input 4.
That happened to my Nait 5i for the week our TV was in for repair and we had a Samsung 'loan' TV from the repair people. Unbeknown to me (until I went into it's settings) the Samsung had some 'global control' setting left on that tried to take over anything in the room using Philips RC5 remote code. It even did this whilst in standby.
I turned off the setting (whatever it was called) and all was well.
Pity its not transferable.
Leave it out! Have been down the boozer? I suppose you called it Damian Nait 5.

That's not a 100 percent hard and fast rule if the buyer and seller both contact Naim.
In my buyer's case (of my Nait 5i amp) he got his local Naim dealer involved to inspect it and test it. Because his dealer was also an Audio-T branch they were able to check with my branch (and the details I emailed them) and agreed to 'inherit' the remaining 3 years of Naim warranty and the remaining one year of Audio-T warranty. It was easier because they were both branches of the same chain and because the seller (me) was able to provide verifiable details. (And it helped that all packaging / remote / instructions / mains lead / Naim interconnect / copy of original invoice etc. were present and correct.)
thats what I call it
I'm not sure what its really called. Some kind of spirit cleansing. She doesn't tell me much about it, as I probably glaze ver. Bit like this forum actually.
There is a digital source, where the recalcitrant CD drawer is absent; that doesn't have any moving parts or have the problems associated with reading the info in real time from a spinning disc....and is Qute 2.
FWIW. My dealer says the new Rega amp is a giant killer.

Well it's back at the dealers. They'll give it a thorough testing before deciding whether to return it to Salisbury or not. There's always a reason....
Anyway didn't have much time to listen to the Elicit-R, due to the fact that all the parking bays were taken. Had to park on a single yellow, which gives you 20 mins grace.
However, the Elicit was connected to PMC 23s and it sounded pretty darn good. Had beautiful clarity and detail. The bass sounded solid with good definition but, as mentioned before, had nothing to compare it with. Plus I'm not that familiar with the 23s either, please forgive me for not giving it full backing.
In terms of timing and rhythmic snap it certainly sounded worryingly familiar... by that I mean if I was to close my eyes it could quite easily be the Leema pounding out the drum beats. Not saying for one minute that either one is better than the other, just my initial interpretation.
Mrs. P has just come out with a good idea regards the CDP, but I'll let you know if or when it goes back to Naim.
However, the Elicit was connected to PMC 23s and it sounded pretty darn good.
once over that £1k mark amps start to sound very good - apparentyl! Bet theres not a lot in it tbh PP, when i demoed the Nait XS2 I couldnt tell them apart, the Elicit R won on matching my other gear & phono stage.
My dealer says the new Rega amp is a giant killer.
I love it! it hasn't been off for 2 weeks,
