Tellurium Q black..Any thoughts?
Black Ravioli..such a funny name
! Cno do you use them for what? The amp? Do they work efficiently? Is that an UK company?
I started a thread on them here: http://www.whathifi.com/forum/hi-fi/black-ravioli
The company is here: http://www.blackravioli.com/index.html
I have had demoed the black ravioli at home with good results. They work best with my nap250.2 and hicap2. I did'nt hear much difference with my cd player though.

The results can be unpredictable, though it often works well under components with a big transformer (amps; especially tube amps) and power supplies. It can also make things sound worse.

Thanks, very interesting thread. I will try it as well when it will be the right time
I did mix both and found that the Tellurium Q Black speaker cable and Tellurium Q Black interconnect was the best combination.
A good dealer will let you try these at home with your kit, then let your ears decide!
Good luck!
Hi Triggy, do you also try some of the higher og lower line of their speaker cables, and if so was the T. Q. Black the best compared to price and quality ?
I get so hungry when you talk about ravioli, I have to jump at my lunch right away

I can see that you're using chord signature jumper links. So before the signal reach the speaker drivers(highs-mid)they will pass through the signature links?
Well the Tellurium Q black arrived this morning.First let me pick my jaw up from the floor!Yes thats how good this cable is.Ok from the box the Q black seems look ordinary, thin and lightweight compare to my epic supertwin which is thick and weighs a ton.Plugged in straight to my system and played Acoustic Alchemy cd,Oh my..Oh my..Am I just dreaming...?First noticeable improvement is the very detailed, clean and very open presentation of each and every tracks I played. There's a lot of space between instrument and very precise in every note.Every strum of the guitar sound sublime.Next is Eva Cassidy's songbird cd,Eva's voice just floats in the air as if she was there singing in front of me and no harshness or edgyness at all.Next is Metallica's cd playing Nothing Else Matters,Wow!Don't need a ticket to watch them live. The bass is so tight as if I was struck by a sledge hammer! And to all other tracks i played the cymbals just shimmer from nowhere. I can hear every tiny detail in most of my cd collection without being bright or harsh. This is the quality of sound I was looking for since I built my first system. It's like adding xps to my cdx2 which sound more analog and tamed the bit forwardness without sacrificing the detail.IMHO the Tellurium black lift my naim set up to the next upper level and now the ATC scm40s sounds at their best. This is the best upgrade I've had EVER!{not run-in yet..)
Iceman, I have 40's as well & am getting a shot of some TQ Black tomorrow. Did you get 2 sets of the links as well ?
Meassage to the team at What Hi Fi.
Can we please have a review of Tellurium cables please.
I too am after a speaker cable upgrade and was looking at these cables - their web site certainly talks the talk - I cant afford the Black version was thinking of the basic one - any news please ? Or could you possibly talk to them for a sample ?

Yes mate,2 sets of links. Each pair are still joined together unlike other biwire links. The z plugs are a perfect fit for the 40s.I'm very confident that you'll be amazed

I had Chord Epic speaker cables together with Chord Chorus 2 interconnect with my Cyrus kit.
I thoroughly enjoyed it but as a precursor to possibly changing my speakers I tried the Tellurium Q Black speaker cable together with Tellurium Q Black interconnect.
The difference was amazing, with much more detail and controlled bass. I was first concerned that it would be fatigueing to listen to but after a few weeks of demoing that was not the case at all.
I bought both Tellurium items and continue to enjoy the sound and have yet to decide whether or not I want to change my speakers as the cables have made such an improvement!

I see you have Black Ravioli pads.....another good product. It's nice to see a fellow "nutcase" out there.
