Surprised Leema haven't made...

... a turntable.

Read a Q&A, in WHFI? a few years ago (I think), where one of the owners - can't remember which one - stated that vinyl provided his most memorable hi-fi experience.

In addition, Leema produce some fantastic switchable phono stages.

I think a quality Leema turntable could be a winner.

I do believe they did look into it at one stage, but decided against it for one reason or another. That conversation was a couple of years ago though...

Thanks David - slightly puzzling.

I remember where I saw the interview: It was in Unilets own catalogue from about 2-3 years ago.

This was with the rep at our place. He asked us what we'd like to see Leema make. I think our first one was a turntable because they're still quite popular, and I'm not just talking about budget ones either. To be honest, Leema need to be concentrating more on marketing at the moment. Zero marketing may well work for Rega, but it doesn't work for Leema...

Well, you'll have to put yourself forward and become Leema's UK distributor.
