I always thought Michael Jackson's "Thriller" qualified, until I heard it decimated by "The Risk" on X Factor last night. |(

Japan - Ghosts, The Damned - Grimly Fiendish, The Doors (Echo & The Bunnymen) People Are Strange. I personally Rammstein by Rammstein, especially the intro has a sense of doom to it.
