Roksan Kandy 2 AMP 'To Bright'
No. For two reasons. Canterbury Hi Fi deal in B&W speakers, not Mezzo's. No 2 All the reviews say it is the bees knees. How could I go wrong!!! or so I thought.

No. 99.999 percent correct

Nope, you're not

Just read your first post. Are you using Apple tv as your source? Is it feasible that the Kandy is highlighting faults earlier on in your system and the fault is their and not the amp.

I'd have been thinking Cambridge Audio when matching an amp to the Mezzos. The CA/MS synergy is more than just a Richer Sounds sales patter. It really is a marriage made in heaven.
The sewage man:Can you still buy good graphic equalizers? Why don't what hi fi review them?
there are equalizers out there, mainly used for PA systems. before you spend £££'s on new equipment i strongly reccomend trying a 31 band graphic equalizer, could be just what you need to fine tune your system. (even a 15 band EQ is ok, but 31 band gives more control)
look here for some ideas:

many audiophiles dont like using EQ and will reccomend against it, but it can be a cheap way of tuning your system. every room has different accustics and an EQ can compensate for this. I have mordaunt short speakers which are bright, i find cutting the 16khz and above frequencies sort this out very well.

i strongly disagree with this. mordaunt short = bright, cambridge audio = bright..... bright + bright = headache, painful ears, and no enjoyment of music
wow great eq's BASSHEAD.
My own take on it from demos, reviews and posts i have read
MS Mezzo 6 - pretty revealing
Roksan Kandy - detailed and verging on bright
Dacmagic - more bright than warm
QED - bright revealing speaker cable
personally i think its the sum of the parts here
try Chord Silver Screen speaker cable to see if this tones it down much - otherwise you are looking at replacing amp or speakers
what would you replace?
The sewage man:what would you replace?
I wouldn't replace anything yet, give it time. What are you using as a source?

Indeed. Blimey. Changing kit should be at least a couple of months off. Give it time to settle in and decide after a couple of hundred hours of use.
How many hours have you played the Mezzos for?
The MS drive units take quite a lot of running in to reach their best performance.
I'd also try and see if your dealer has a demo set of Chord cables that you can borrow. I find them to be much more balanced sounding than QED.
Any new system does take some time to reach its full performance potential, but it should sound good right out of the box.
If it gets better, it's a nice bonus, but if it doesn't sound good now it never will.
You need start with the speakers again.
Can someone tell me what he is using as a source.
Is this the problem which the Kandy is highlighting.
Is he using compressed files at 128kbs?

Did you demo this before you bought it?. Rule No 1 is demo first.
