replacing my nakamichi av-8 amp...but with what??

My speakers model is B&W CM-5 and although it's not the best speakers in the world ,i'm very excited about them so i decided to stick with them..

i also have MUSICAL FIDELITY M1 DAC..

now ,i want to replace my nakamichi amp in something better.

my budget is below £2500.

i'm thinking about the LAVARDIN IS REFERENCE. the reviews really glorify this model.

what do you think will be a great match for my system?
