Replacement for Nakamichi Soundspace 3 Clock Radio/Hifi
Dear All,
A few years ago I bought what I believe to be the perfect Bedroom Hi-Fi. It consisted of two identical clock radios linked together and combined with a small Sub-woofer. The clock radios provide Left and Right Channel stereo and the sub adds that extra bit of base to provide a pleasing sound for the bedroom. Not the best I grant you but far better than a stand alone clock radio. Me and the Mrs, had our own display and controls so we can have 2 alarms but have our own snooze button.
Now a few years down the line and the stereo is about worn out. I am therefore looking to replace it with something similar. Nakamichi have stopped selling the Sound Space 3 so I am pretty stuffed. I like the concept though and was wondering if anyone had come across a similiar type of system. My requirements are essentially:
1. Bedroom Hi-fi with dual alarm functionality.
2. Controls for both sides of the bed.
3. It would be nice to have displays both sides but I'm prepared to lose this if I can still control it from both sides.
4. Radio (Maybe DAB) is essential. CD Playback would be nice but not essential.
Any Opinions? What do others do?
Mike.
