Dear ALL

I know that this is a very broad and personal matter, but I believe, it would be VERY  interesting, I guess, to learn from all of you which you believe (or know for a fact) that are the best or most appropriate combinations between AMPS and SPEAKERS.

As myself, and probably a lot others, do not have the opporunity to test every possible combination of amps & speakers, I believe this can be a starting point for a lot of us.

To make it even MORE interesting you can aslo drop a sub combination in the list.

Thanking you for your precious input. good job

PS: It could be ANY budget really so no limitations....

Nobody knows for a fact. There's no way of measuring it for one thing, it's an entirely subjective opinion and as such there is no right or wrong answer because...

I can guarantee that there isn't a person in the world, living or dead that's managed to do that.

Really, it's such a ridiculously broad field it's impossible to answer.

Here's a few that I think would work:

Lavardin / Living Voice

Creek / Epos

Naim / PMC or Neat

Sugden / Proac

Cyrus / Spendor

MF AMS / Kef Ref

Luxman / Harbeth

Audio Research / Sonus Faber

VTL / Focal

Icon Audio / ATC

McIntosh / Usher

RE: BEST Amplifier & Speaker combination.

Thanks AGAIN CnoEVIL!!!

I appreciate it The_Lhc that it is a very broad issue! Howvever all of us have/will have to make such decisions... so basically I do not think is just theoretical..... and I am sure you  have found out that some things can be horribly wrong when combine together, even if apart they might be quite good....

What I am looking is for subjective answers coming out of experience . There is not, and I agree a black and white answer, but then again there is always the rainbow....

Of cource you can wear red shirt, yellow pants and green shoes if you want to, but some things really DO NOT MATCH at all... and ruin everything else no matter how much you have spent...... ohhh sure

P.S: if I take your words, word for word, then NOBODY IN HERE or ELSEWHERE should every speak their minds cause its all subjective and there is NEVER a correct answer?  Am i right? party time!

I think the OP isn't looking for  " The Definitive List", but combinations that people have generally found worked for them.

If you are a newb with no idea, it at least gives a place to start.

Yes I expect you're probably right but the subject line doesn't give that impression. "BEST" in capitals suggests that a definitive combination (never mind list!) is exactly what is required.
