Pmc Db1+ on the end of a marantz M-CR603... Will I die????

Still contemplating then Neat Iotas but we have had a change around in the living room for Christmas and it looks like a set of stand mount speakers might fit. Second hand PMC DB1+ are on eBay for £550 and was wondering if these were an alternative for the Neats?

They should sound really good but won't quite have the top-end refinement of the 'i' series.

I'd say they'd work really well...
I ran Neat Motive 2's on the end of mine for a while and also heard the Neat Iotas, PMC GB1i's, KEF R100's and R300's and Dynaudio Focus 110's and they all sounded fantastic (Dyn's were a difficult drive and you could hear that when the volume was upped)!
Living room: iTunes to ATV 2 (via AirPlay) to Cyrus 8 DAC with KEF LS50 speakers - Tellurium Q Blue cables
Spare room: Marantz CR603, AirPlay, Monitor Audio RX2's - Chord Odyssey 2 cables
