On Wall Speakers
Hi all,
Due to the space and shape of my dining/kitchen area, i have to wall mount my spaeakers.
I know this is not ideal, but its been this way for five years now. at present i have a pair of Kef iq10's
which sound ok, but are light on bass and cannot be driven as hard as i would like (the dining area leads straight
through to the garden, so i'm thinking forward to summer)
So my question is this, what pair of speakers will give me great bass, a high volume threshold, decent stereo
capability, but at the same time not mind being hung from a wall?
Budget wise, i'm looking at £400 - £500.
The Dali Ikon mk2 on-wall speakers are damn good too and perfect for the job. Bit over budget though
Thanks Clare, i've just read the blog, and they have now gone to the top of my audition list. can they be as good as people are saying? I do hope so.

I have heard them close to a wall but standmounted and they were great!
Will you be driving them with the Onkyo? If so they should be fine but remember to audition with the Onkyo if you can.
I never heard myself, but they are small and seems to have good reviews. The day I'll done with my main system, I'll look at these ones for the kitchen (wall mount).

If you can stretch your budget, the new Neat iotas could be perfect. Tiny speakers, easily wall-mountable, but kick out stupendous amount (and quality) of sound for their size. But they are £650....
