thanks for your answer!
Unison Research Simply Italy is might be a very good and quality product, that can extract 100% of potential from mission 760i, but its to expensive for me now
i try to find some budget amp.
maybe you have some minds about fisher ca 7000/7700?
very nice amp with good price (less than 200 dollars)
now I feed it from mini stereo JVC ex-D11 with built-in DAC and 2x20Watt 4 Ohm amp. the sound is not bad, but I think it might be better
Not saying you should get a Simply Italy (that would be overkill++), I wanted to point out they're not a difficult load for any amp.
As I said, I have little knowledge of the amps you quote; I only know that Luxman have some very good equipment, and also some really mediocre stuff (like my old DVD-player), so if you consider it: try before you buy.
I hope some of the more skilled forumites will pop in to help you out.
Double post.
I can get the luxman lv-100 for about 40 pounds, may be its the best buy for its price?

Luxman, as a brand, would be my pick.
Can't comment on those models..........and how it (LV-100) sounds, will depend on what condition it's in (may need a service).

Hi Romeo,
I happen to have the 760SEs (which should be quite close to yours). Still using them - some 20 years by now. I recently hooked them up with a Unison Simply Italy, a 2 x 12 W single ended tube amp, and the result was excellent, my point being: these are really fine speakers, with a good sensitivity and a rather benign impedance curve (you summed up the specs in your post). I think every decent amp can make them shine.
The bad news is that I'm not familiar with any of the amps you name; I use a 2 x 45 W Yamaha amp (just as old as the speakers are), which sounds fine, but does not - as I recently realised - bring up the best in them. I'm sure others on the forum can be of more help suggesting a good match. But the bottom line will be: audition for yourself, if possible in your own listening room.
All the best!
