I am pretty new to the Hi-Fi world, so apologies in advance for posting such basic questions, but I'm looking to get together my first Hi-Fi system, and want to be sure that I'm going about it in the right way.
I listen to a very extensive variety of music ranging including rock, folk, jazz, classical, electronic, house, drum & bass etc. I'd like a system which allows me to play music through a laptop, ipod and CD player. I'm on a fairly tight budget (around £250-300), but am happy to buy second-hand. I've found some decently-priced second-hand Wharfedale Diamond 10s and Cambridge Audio Azur 640As.
So my question is basically what would I need to add to achieve the desired results? Do you think the Wharfedale Diamond 10s and Cambridge Audio Azur 640 would work well together - are there better options? Also, would it be possible to add further components (eg a subwoofer) at a later date if I feel it would be beneficial?
Your help would be massively appreciated!
