New Denon CEOL (N8) and Marantz MCR 603 - what are the significant differences?
Just moved to a new home and it's time to get a new stereo system. I want to move away from separates, and I've narrowed the selection down to the new Denon Ceol (N and the classic Marantz MCR 603. I searched the net and this forum, but I wasn't able to find any review or info on the new Denon. By looking at the specs, seems like the Denon can play 192/24 FLAC files, but couldn't find any other significant difference. I am not interested in Airplay and I have a wired network connection, so wifi is not that important. Typical usage would be internet radio and streaming from the NAS/PC.
They are both at approximately the same price (unit only, I will be pairing them with Dali Zensor 5). So any input on how to tilt the balance would be appreciated. Is 192/24 capability important? Does anyone have the new Ceol - how does it sound?
