New cheaper/downsized Hi-Fi suggestions

Hey there everyone. Im considering selling my Naim system to downsize to something cheaper. I would want to buy a cd player/amp combo for around a grand.  Can anyone recommend any amplifier cd player combos that fit the budget that i should definitely have a listen to. I wont need speakers as i will be keeping my viennas.

Oh and a combination with good timing and musicality is a must. If anybody can think of something which fits that description please feel free to suggest it and where i could listen would be helpful.

I would suggest you try and audition a Creek Evolution 2 combo., or even the cheaper Creek 5350.

As to where you could listen to them I would not know because I do not know where you live. Smile

Not heard them myself but would have thought the Rega BrioR and ApolloR would be a good little system for ~£1k
