Hi,

I got a big collection of LP's but nothing to listen to them except for an old sony system that sounds pretty bad.  My budget is about 800€ / £650 and I listen to mainly classical and jazz music.  I only need a good turntable (Pro-ject Debut III looks good), an amp on which I can plug the turntable, speakers (no sub), my iPod (jack connection) and headphones.  I don't need anything else, but I just wanna get the best out of my LP's for about 800 €.  I will listen to them in my bedroom which is about 15m2.

I thought about buying an amp like the Marantz 6004 and Monitor Audio Bronze BX2 but I'm not sure if this is the best bang for the buck for what I intend to do (I've read that the phono preamps are not always that good built in amplifiers).  Do you have any advice?

Thanks for your feedback.
