Perhaps I was a bit harsh. I am just finding it amazing that no one is even trying to dispute these amazing claims.

Other forum members who do not believe in the effect mains have on HiFi dispute Trevor on a daily basis. However, Trev seems to me to know what he is talking about and he does explain why he can get the amp and speakers to sound good. I think it is very generous of him to offer others to come round and listen for themselves. It shows he is certainly willing to back up his claims.

It will certainly make for some interesting reading when jase fox posts about the experience.

Oh yes ill certainly be posting my findings Messiah, even if its negative ha, although im sure it wont be.

I agree that Trev does seem to know what hes talking about, i had a little chat with him on the phone earlier today & he sounds like a very knowledgeable, polite & pleasant gent, im looking forward to meeting him & his wife on Sunday....

Jase, as an aside, how did you list so much equipment in your signature? If I try an add even a couple more words into mine a message comes up saying character limit reached.

Thanks

Hi idc, i have no idea, ha.

At the time when i was doing it no message came up saying character limit reached? However, the funny side is, is that i tried editing my signature as ive got the Denon 2500bt transport now & wanted to delete the Pioneer lx70, when i did that it then came up saying "character limit reached" yet its the same amount of words more or less. I even tried deleting the "remote controlled dimmer lights" to make more space & it still said the above warning !!

And as you can see it hasnt updated the new info i put on it, i think it must be on the blink !!

I hope all the house work my wife will be doing in the run up to next Sunday won't effect the sound quality.

Surely a bit of dust in the air improves things? Ha ha

No doubt she will be hovering the lawns as well!

Yes, it would be awful, truly awful if Jase was to suggest that you had some dust in the house. If you invite people for dinner, then surely it's best to clean up after they've gone, rather than before they arrive and after they've gone.

My other half insists on sorting the place out before the cleaner comes. ÿ

Dont worry about all that Trev, we aint royalty ha But im afraid i do suffer from hayfever inc a dust allergy!! So freshly hovering the lawns is going to be fun for me & if i start sneezing in your home then youll know your wife hasnt done the dusting very well, ha.

Only joking Trev, im sure ill be fine.......>>> "he says packing his hayfever tablets & nasal sprays ha

NO no no joel, im far to polite for that ! Id be the total opposite in fact as id be more concerned if there wasnt dust around as homes that look to clinical are uncomfortable, i like a home to look lived in, ha

Tut, tut Trevor, shouldn't a modern man like you be helping, if not doing all of it as jase is strictly speaking your guest?  Wink

Slightly off-topic Trevor, but as a result of your tips, I have secured a second hand Isotek GII Minisub mains conditioner thingie to see for myself whether it makes any difference to my systems.  Will keep you posted.  I will also investigate the separate spur suggestion but as I might be moving house in the near future, I may leave it until I have moved. Happy Easter!

Really sorry Trevor, just could not resist asking you for a picture of her hovering, I thought Messiah was the only one affected at this time of the year. Wink

Ah, I see, my bloody spelling again!

Well we work as a good team and do most things together.

I do most of the shopping and cook to a high standard. (Profesionally trained)

How are you doing with your Mains upgrades?

What many people take for granted is the quality of the 'True Earth' which often is poor not being cleaned for decades. Check this and all your cross bonding points in the home.

PS Love the picture, a night at the opera?

up the music:
Shipley, Horsforth? We could get a little Yorkshire group together here. I'm in central Bradford and seem to remember somebody else in Holmfirth.

Last of the Summer Wine, the whathifi.com remake?

Hi Jase/Trevor,

Did this little system demonstration go ahead?? I have not been on here for a while so I am not sure if there was any feedback....
