Marantz CD6004 &SACD

I've just got a Rega DAC and I'm using the CD6004 as a transport. Will this enable me to play SACD as the Rega DAC supports hi res files?

I don't know anyone who can lend me a disc to try and I would rather not buy one unless I know they work.

Nope. Both the DAC and the player must be DSD compatible to be able to play SACD's.

DSD DAC's are very rare.

Ok yes just confirming what I thought!

Imfancy getting some hi res downloads, been looking at bob Marley Legend at the Linn Store heard its pretty good!
