Le Roi est mort, vive le Roi!

Nice one Fwiw, imo i feel that SCM19 monitors are probably the finest VFM passive bookshelf designs currently available on the market regardless of price
All the best

One of the best stand mounters I've heard regardless of price.
But as in life ''It's horses for courses''
In my case it will be KEF's thoroughbred, the ls50's
I know zip about T-Rex so I'm afraid that reference is beyond me.
HiFi / A/V / Bedroom
Unless i missed it big time i didn't realize that you had such high regard for SCM19's
Musicraft (Derby), Specialist Hi-Fi/AV & Multimedia Dealer
good accurate audio monitoring and good sound reproduction to all
in view of your status as an ATC dealer, do you think the nature of your posts on ATC in this thread on this hi-fi forum are appropriate?
I've replied to you I am sorry that my response was not what you had hoped for.
Btw, perhaps you should also look at your seemingly 'know it all' posts as I haven't agreed with some of them.
I think that you and David from Frank Harvey Hi-fi use this forum too much for your own marketing purposes.
Your concerted propaganda campaign must finally have seeped into my subconscious!
Now you're on to marketing  I'll have to differ with you though.
Btw, you can look at the following whichever you like - Rick recommends/mentions products from manufacturers that he doesn't deal with, Rick recommends/mentions dealers that he has no connection with, Rick recommends/suggests 'save your time and your money', etc.
different people are going to see it differently. I post as an enthusiast, and because I enjoy it, and I like talking about and promoting good products. If I didn't work for Frank Harvey, I would still be posting here and saying the same things (maybe more strongly as I wouldn't be a retailer )
We're now Chord Electronics dealers. That is what I call marketing

Mitsubishi HC7000 / Oppo BDP103 / Audiolab 8200AP / Rotel RMB1575 / kick ass speaker system
I think the title says it all, the LS50's will sell themselves......with little marketing.
I am going to differ with you. Funnily enough earlier this week another one of my clients commented that he viewed your posts in a similar manner.
Anyway, if your concerted efforts do ever seep into my mind then i'll let you know. Credit where credit is due
The question is, can I handle the infamous notoriety, without it going to my head?
Unlikely to be honest....you can't teach an old dog new tricks!
Thankyou for your suggestion.
I did look into the SCM11's and wondered if they would be a good match, seems that they do thrive on power, of which my power amp has in heaps. I notice that they come up for sale regularly second hand as they are like the 685's, an older but multi award winning speaker.
I would still like the try the LS50's though, it's sometimes difficult to know unless you hear speakers for yourself, KEF have certainly marketed them very well, as they did with the Q300's which I didn't rate compared to the 685's.
Yes, the Rotel's quantity, quality of power and overall performance enables the RB-991 power amplifier to work a treat with SCM11 monitors
Anyway, in addition to hearing the 50's please also try listening to a pair 11 monitors
