integrated stereo receiver for music and a seperate multichannel for movies... or a pre/power solution for everything???

Stereo music performance is key for what i'm looking for.
What would be best?
- AV home cinema receiver and a seperate integrated stereo receiver for my music
(like a NAD 7.1 T 765 AV receiver for the center and surround speakers and a NAD C 372 for the front speakers and stereo use)
or
- 7.1 AV pre amp and 7.1 power amp that would also be used for stereo duties
(like a NAD 7.1 T 175 pre amp and a T 975 power amp)
As i said music performance in stereo is key.
