Could I use an Audiolab 8000P power amp to do this with my Onkyo 8050?

If your Onkyo has pre outs yes I used to run an Audiolab 8000A + 8000PX sounded very good Smile

Technically yes but unless the onkyo and audio lab have the same gain you will have disparate levels. Personally I wouldn't bother.

Yes I agree. I think you'd also have to have equal runs of the same cable. Even then you might end up with slight timing differences (at least that was my experience when I tried biamping using different brands with different power ratings).

Thanks. I'm still learning. So in reality my only option would be to bi-amp with another Onkyo 8050?
