How much to spend on interconnects for the Marantz 6000s?

Hi,
I'm going to get a Marantz CD6004 and will probably hook it up to a PM6003 I've got. I've also just got some Monitor BX2s, and have decent speaker cable. What about interconnects though? I've got one of the QED Profile interconnects (1m), which WhatHifi raved about last Summer:

Will this do Marantz+BX2s justice, or should I fork out the extra for, say, a Chord Crimson? I can probably get away with a 0.5m interconnect.
Grateful for any views,
Chris

I personally wouldn't spend more than £30 on an interconnect for a system such as yours.
Over the years I have had various interconnects. From Tandy gold patch throught to Sonic Link Red, QED Qunex 1, Qunex 2 and Qunex Silver Spiral. Those prices range from £7 to about £90. In my experience a good interconnect is a good interconnect, speaker cables are more dramatic in differences.
The QED you mentioned will do just fine.
NAD C326BEE Amplifier, Sony CDP-XB930 CD Player, Pioneer PDR-509 CD Recorder, Arcam irDock with iPod Touch, B&W DM 601 S3 speakers, Jamo 20"Stands, Revolver Rack, QED cabling throughout, Sennheiser HD 518 & HD 565 Ovation Headphones, Beyerdynamic DTX-101iE ear buds.
