Hi-fi to smartphone integration

Please excuse me putting this in the hi-fi section but it is mostly about the integration of either the iPhone 5 or Samsung galaxy s3 into my system. 

I've had iPhones for about 4 years and I've always been able to integrate them into my hi-fi fairly easily and with fairly good sound quality. With the change to either of the afore mentioned smartphones I'm gonna have to make some, hopefully minor changes. 

The iPhone 5 has the new lighting connector. So at a minimum I'll need a connector to change the lightning connector to the old 30 pin line out. 

Does the Samsung have the ability to get a line out signal or a digital signal I can send to a dac? 

My phone is my most used music player so this is a very important decision.
