Help With Sub and Speaker Compatibility Please

Hi, this is my first post and I'm hoping im posting it in the right place. 

I decided to upgrade my old Klipsh Promedia 2.1 speaker system to the much raved aboout Audioengine 5+ speakers. However I do like to listen to music with lots of bass so I was hoping if someone could tell me if it would be possible to connect my old sub from the Klipsh system to my new A5's.
