Help with Meridian

Please help, I don't know where to go with this?

I spent £3600.00 on the G98AH DVD Audio Player. I upgraded the software and now I get a massive click each time a disc loads, or I if do anything like go into a menu or change chapter. The worst thing is that Meridian tell me it is meant to happen as it is the relay that I can hear and this click is designed to protect the rest of the system.

The real problem though is that with DVD Audio it makes this loud click every time the track changes. Also because it is a double click and takes a few seconds, it actually clicks over the music. This in my opinion is unforgivable for a £3600.00 machine. And guess what? Meridian refuse to provide me with a file of the original software. Damn I wish I had saved it....despite it's original glitches, at least it didn't click over the music!!!
