hack for panosonic blue ray to make multy region

Hi all I have a panosonic DMR BWT 700 which I wuold like to play region one disc's on I think there is a hack which you can do with the remote any of you cleaver gents / ladies know what it is  many thanks,  also I recorded  jesse stone   and there is a lot of blocking and picture brake up is there some kind of spoiler to stop you recording some programs as this has happened twice
