Got a mains cable, don't judge me before you hear what I have to say
Dude?
 .. Oh dear... Seems like that word is a problem... Rest my case!!
Well I have to say I didn't know people used that word in real life!
You must move in different circles to me!
Chris
Some people are telling thier age now...
What age should we be?
And who are you? Peter effing Pan? (He had another pertinent quality - other than never aging - perhaps you could employ it now. As far away as possible preferably.)
I don't know anyone of any age from 1 year to their 80s who uses the word dude.
It's unlike you to get caught up with one of the well known WUMs on the forum, Chebby.
Hi Ben,
I guess that is WUM as in "He's a WUM, just ignore his posts.", and not as in "Wum, make me a sandwich!" or "It´s important for me that he is WUM." (urbandictionary.com)?
Always glad to better my English skills. Thanks!
I'm not sure Internet abbreviations is improving your English but glad to be of service
Btw, I definitely did not mean the next example from your link

Really? I can think of at least three and that's just members of my family.

better your English skills on this! tell us how went Tritton and Magnepan demo?
Short version: contacted dealer to remind him of our appointment - dealer had just (again) sold his demo pair of Tritons and ordered new ones - next try (3rd time!) somewhere end of this month... Oh, do I hope they are worth it!
Last week I unpacked a brand new pair of Tritons at Francis', always welcome to come and try this Saturday
Ale
Hi Alex,
I know, he just confirmed me the new pair had arrived. Planning to go in the week of Febr. 18th. I'll keep you posted!

That explains a lot ...................

No but if I said two them were under the age of ten you'd be getting pretty close to the reason why they use it.

You'll have to explain it to me then, I don't know what you're trying to say.

I do on occasion, and so do some of my friends. Why shouldnt we?
What was this thread about again? Oh yeah, has anyone tried a fancy mains cable on their tv, specifically a 2012 Panasonic Plasma? I have heard rumours it can help sort out some of its picture problems -in particular motion handling, line bleed, edge doubling or something like that. I am very curious about this as i own a ST50 and compared to the Sammy i had to exchange it for the motion isnt as good (i was aware of this before the exchange) and have read elsewhere people have had some success changing the M/C.

I guess they're not watching the same TV shows as my nephews.

How old's the third and what's their excuse?

He's their dad and his excuse is there's nothing actually wrong with the word, so what's the problem?

Who said there was a problem? I said I don't know anyone who uses the word, what's the problem with that?
What we may have established, which is what I suspected, is that predominantly children use it but it is not confined to any particular age. So native bon's suggestion that someone was too old because they don't say dude is a nonsense, or he is indicating that he is a child / of a childlike mind.
