Going from Monitor Audio RX1 to active speakers need help

I want to move to active speakers because I don't have anywhere to put my amp and they're just cleaner for a desktop use. I have Monitor Audio RX1 speakers with CA 550a amplifier. Would switiching to Mackie MR5 Mk2 be a downgrade? Or maybe Yamaha HS80m but I heard the Mackies are better. Any posts appreciated Smile

Not heard those particular Mackies, or any Yamahas, or the RX1s shhh .  These are pretty good though.
