Do audio stores do good deals after Christmas?

Bit of an inane question, but I'm questioning if it's worth waiting until after Xmas to buy my first seperates hi-fi. Thanks in advance, Matthew.

You will find that most sales will start on Boxing Day, as mentioned. Get up early!
A common sale trick, is to show a discount on the top level retail price. Most items can be bought below the RRP outside of sales dates anyway.
Do your homework first. Take demos and do you online search and research before hand, so that you are ready to pounce on a real deal.

Also, good shout on Seven Oaks, thanks TheCaptain

Most Hi-Fi stores like Richer Sounds hold Boxing Day sales. You'll have to be there early for the best deals.
