Digital Source for Cyrus Mono X200 system
Hi There, For some strange reason my OP was blank. Weird. Anyhow, I'm looking for a Digital source for my Cyrus Mono-X200/PreXP/CD8 with sonus faber speaker system. Contenders are Audiolab M-DAC, Wadia 121 and the Rega DAC. I dont have a way to audition these in Dubai so am looking for a blind purchase. I'll be upgrade the pre-amp in a few months so dont care about the digital source having pre-amplification. I'd be looking for something that can rival the quality i'd get from my CD player or better, any suggestions and feedback here? Regards, YSK
If you're going to add a DAC and change the pre-amp, why not consider the DACxp+?
Hey Frank, i thought about the DACXP+ but am likely to go for a non-Cyrus preamplifier, have not decided yet but Music First is one contender. I want to keep my digital source and switching boxes seperate...
