For those interested, Creek has posted a PDF of the review on their website. Based on the review I'm expecting a fight between the Cyrus 6 and the Creek for HFC's award this year. I'm still hoping to see a WHF review though!
Attached is the link for a pdf of the review from creek's website (Mods if the link violates forum rules, please delete it):

I just read the review in the latest audio (04/2013) edition which is a very good magazine. The 50A got a good, but not a great review. If you read the review you can read that in many ways they preferred the old Evolution 2 amplifier.
It would be interesting to see more reviews of old v new equipment. It seems from reviews that every year new gear is better but Im not so sure that todays stuff is much better than 10 or 20 years ago. Mags used to do reviews like this not sure if they still do.
How does a Marantz 6004 compare with an Arcan Alpha 3 or Arcan Alpha 9?
Yes I agree certainly an amp WHF should review, alongside a few other middle weight contenters.
HiFi News June issue reviews the Creek 50, anyone got hold of it?
Only read the excellent HiFi Choice review. I'm still interested to know when the 50D CD/DAC./Pre-Amp will see the light of day.
Creek Evolution 5350 amp (with Creek Sequel 40 phonoboard) - Creek Evolution 2 CDP - Squeezebox Touch
Rega P3 TT/RB300/Ortofon 2M Blue - Arcam rDACkw - Epos Elan 30s
Van Damme SC & Epiphany Atratus ICs
Well, they praise the 50A for its speed and transparency but criticize it as bass shy. While I don´t think "Audio" is a very good magazine this observation is not too far off the Choice review in which in absolute terms a lack of some bass heft was noted.
When first announced the new cd player and amp were £500 approx each, making a combo around £1000 - £1100.
The above review now suggest they are £700 each, which makes a combo now £1400.
£400 above inital target price is quite a steep hike in approximation and as such has knocked me out of the ball park for this anticipated couple.
Maybe that was ex. VAT? Some dealers will give you a discount, or ex-demo should be £100 or so less.
I did see the review briefly, also if you look on the Creek website I think there is a copy. Maybe WHF will review it?
If the cd player comes out later this year, I'd seriously consider a combo of this Creek gear, especially if I could get the price down to nearer what was stated at the start of all this. Prices should be clearly indicated as ex VAT to avoid confusion for the buying public.
And yes, WhatHiFi should review also.
The Creek got 85% in the HiFi News group test. More than Primare and Arcam´s new amp. "Outstanding dynamics". The grade is rather high, especially considering its price.
By the way, have anyone got a listen yet?
Considering it might be bass shy, as Audio.de suggest,
wouldn't PMC transmission line speakers be the ideal speaker?
I don't know but the amp shouldn't be bass shy in the first place. After reading the reviews of the amp I'm not that interested any more.
I've not heard a 50A but if its anything like the Evo 2 or 5350 models then I would not describe it as bass shy. Quality bass more like.
A review in What Hifi should be nice
