I think it is only right that good service is acknowledged as that helps to encourage further good service.

I bought some Chord Chamelion Plus interconnects and after only having them for a couple of weeks my eldest son yanked them out of my CD player with such force that it broke one of the terminals off. I contacted Chord who said post the damaged cable to us and we will repair it free of charge which they duly did and very promptly too.

As this was not a warrenty claim I feel this goodwill gesture should be ackknowleged.

I'd have whipped his **** with them before sending them back and apologised to Chord for the additional damage lol.

I thought it was a thread about HMV vouchers Smile

Well done Chord. Though I'm sure you didn't have to tell them they'd been ripped out to get a repair under warranty? (less information can be advisable)

Apart from the fact I am honest (foolish I know) it would be hard to explain how the wire was actually snapped at the terminal with the wire still inside the pin without the words "signs of mistreatment"  being used by Chord! Laughing out loud

As for using the cable to whip my sons **** I should mention he is 6ft 4inches 18+ stone rugby player while I am a somewhat smaller pensioner so that is not going to happen! Why it happened is a somewhat convoluted story.

Ah well all's well that ends well even if one cable is slightly shorter than the other.

That is good that companies do things like this, I think it pays in the long run and is free advertising.
