CD Player for a CYRUS Setup

I have a setup of Cyrus III integrated amp + PSX-R. I also have Mission 753 loudspeakers.
I had a Micromega Stage 3 CD player which stopped working and I'm looking for a good new CD player instead.
I've been offered the Audiolab 8000CD but I'm not sure it's up to speed. I haven't checked yet the Cyrus CD options.
Any recommendations ?

Thanks Andrew. If I would ask you to rate my options between the Cyrus 6vs2 and the Audiolab 8000CD (although I've been offered the Cyrus for almost double the price of the Audiolab) what would you say ?

Strictly IMHO, I prefer the Audiolab, and find the Cyrus players a bit on the brash side. And given that price difference, I know which one I'd buy...

Either of the Cyrus players would be an obvious match, and the Audiolab would be good, too, but you should also try to have a listen to the Quad 99CD player, and the relatively new Musical Fidelity X-RAY V8,
